We’re launching a competition (not a hackathon) for live products already in use—web apps or mobile apps, paid or free. Our goal is to find early teams building valuable products, give them exposure, and provide hands-on help to reach international markets.

If you wish, we can assist your team in turning early traction into a business: choosing jurisdiction, international expansion, streamlining accounting and reporting, working with tax authorities, and more.

What’s Different from a Hackathon

No build-from-scratch sprint. Products must be live and have users.

Judges will use your live app during the judging window.

Early-stage focus: we favor promising teams who want to grow, not established companies.

Eligibility & Rules

Time zone: All dates/times are Dubai time (GST / UTC+4).

Registration deadline: FEB 5, 23:59 GST

Evidence upload window: FEB 1 – FEB 5, 23:59 GST (we’ll provide a short follow-up form)

What to upload Feb 1 – 5

• Links to live apps (store links or access instructions if closed beta/TestFlight/passworded)

• January usage screenshots (analytics with visible date range & property/app ID) or server logs

• Product presentation (brief release history / timeline)

Early-stage criteria

Product sales (Jan 2025– Jan 2026) ≤ $100k; and if IP is owned by a company, that company’s revenue (Jan 2025– Jan 2026) ≤ $100k.

We may request read-only analytics access for verification.

Team definition

List all material contributors (up to 10 people).

The entrant is the IP owner; vendors/outsourcers are not part of the team unless they retain rights or have an ongoing product role.

Authorship & ownership

App store publisher or domain ownership must match a listed team member or the owning entity (domain verification via DNS TXT or /.well-known/ogonai-verification.txt accepted).

You confirm you have the right to submit and no conflicting employer/client IP claims.

Judging Criteria

Product & UX quality (onboarding, reliability, clarity of value)

Early traction signal (January MAU/engagement; quality over raw scale)

Go-to-market & growth potential (internationalization readiness)

Technical execution (sound architecture, performance, appropriate AI use if relevant)

Insight/moat (distribution advantage, data, workflow lock-in, or unique approach)

Timeline (GST / UTC+4)

FEB 1 – FEB 5: Evidence upload (January stats, access links, deck)

FEB 5, 23:59: Registration closes

FEB 6– FEB 16: Judges test and evaluate your live app

FEB 17: Closing ceremony & winners announced

Prizes & Expert Support

Prizes

Winners can customize their prize by selecting options within their allocated budget:

• 1st Place: $1,500 USD

• 2nd Place: $1,000 USD

How it Works:

After winners are announced, they can select items from the prize list to create a customized prize package within their prize budget. Additionally, as a prize, an item not listed above can be selected by mutual agreement between the participant and the hackathon organizers.

Winners also receive 1:1 consultations with Ogon.AI experts on launch strategy, pricing, onboarding, localization, and growth. 

Intellectual Property

All rights to your product remain with you/your company.

You grant judges temporary access for evaluation during the judging window.
